Reflection (1) - the eventful May

Since the end of April, I have been busy until today that I can finally have a break and do some reflection.

Something I have done this month.

1. One week back home
I took a week away from my work back to Taiwan for dental checks, for chiropractic check, for traditional Chinese clinical check. I wanted to do a thorough health check but the time just wasn't enough for me to complete everything. I enjoyed a little bit of pleasure from nice massage sessions (this included traditional treatments. :) After all these treatments and health checks, I really feel much better from my constant fatigue and pains in my body. I am thankful that the Lord was helping me deal with all these problems in such a limited time. I also visited my companion's mum - she recently passed away so both of us visited her at a cemetery.
2. PhD conference
Right after coming back from Taiwan, I had to prepare a presentation for this conference. It was finished well on time. And right after the presentation, I met up with a young brother who came to my uni for study. I prayed the day before, and the Lord made everything smooth while I was trying to help out the brother settle down and find a place to stay. The Lord demonstrated His faithfulness to this brother (as well as to me). Every crucial matter was well taken care of for that young brother to settle down. I gradually touch that the Lord's heart is really to gain us through various situations.

3. PhD Entrepreneurship Academy at Liverpool
At the same time, I had to arrange my going to Liverpool for a two-day workshop. Due to the short notice, I had to arrange everything in a rush way, but I am very thankful that the saints are flexible for me to request hospitality in such a short period of time. I stayed with sister Margaret's family, and it was the 1st time that I had a proper blending with this family as well as some saints at Liverpool.

I had been wanting to blend with saints but due to the busy work and the limitation of finance, I was not able to travel far. Therefore, I am really thankful that the Lord released this occasion for me to blend with saints.

I am encouraged by the saints' love and faithfulness to the Lord, and I love these young ones because they are really vessels unto honour to contain the living God.

Then, I had worked on a potential project with my supervisor until this morning. Although we decided that the part I had been working on did not fit in the current piece of work that he has with other scholars, but he likes the piece I presented and this might be able to contribute to another article. So we will see.
