Let's go on - the matter of keeping the heart uplifted

Recently I enjoy that our Christian walk does not merely depend on our spirit but also our soul. Our soul is of great use for our experiencing the Lord. The realisation that I have to do my best to maintina my mental and phisical health in order to experience the Lord properly really impressed me.

Therefore, during my essay writing, I try not to stress out and keep a regular daily routine. It has gone fine but my progress of essay writing is really slow and I was stuck somewhere. This afternoon when I saw some classmates discussing what their progress are, I was like "seriously I'm going too slow". A sense of uneasiness came to me. While taking a break from writing, I went upstairs and thought "why not singing a hymn?" I opened my hymn book, and this lovely hymn I used to sing in my uni year appeared to me.

Hymn 2117
1
Let’s go on!
Forward come!
A heart that is loving Him,
A heart that is willing,
A heart that’s uplifted,
No, not defeated!
Let’s go on!
Forward come
To the Son!
We are Your vessels,
Created to be
Man in Your image
To be filled up with Thee.
You’re my enjoyment
Overflowing me!
I’m a man in Your image,
Thus expressing Thee!
2
Let’s go on!
Forward come!
A spirit that’s burning,
A heart that is bubbling,

Saints that are eating
And always drinking!
Let’s go on!
Forward come
To the Son!
3
Let’s go on!
Forward come!
Spirit releasing,
Saints that are feasting,
Not analyzing,
Or criticizing.
Let’s go on!
Forward come
To the Son!
4
Let’s go on!
Forward come!
Life so enjoyable,
Else it be terrible,
But He’s so wonderful,
And so available!
Let’s go on!
Forward come
To the Son!

Oh how much I need to maintain the sense of joy and a uplifted heart of hope!
Not defeated. No never!
