Our God is like a mother - the balance of my study, church life, and work

Before reading the morning revival message, I remembered a sister who's doing a full-time job and she has a baby girl. At a point, she felt the need to study post grad so there was one period of time (around 2-3 years) that she was doing a master in a new area and having a full-time job. Although her mother in law will help take care of the child, out of love, she didn't want to miss her baby girl's childhood. Therefore, she was dedicated to her study, her work, and spending time with her baby girl after work.

In the end, half an year after her graduation, her thesis was awarded the best prize.

I think of this because I'm kinda struggling. I have a heart to take care of the juniors in the church life, but at the same time, I need to study. After September, I'll probably need to work. All these make me think how a Christian sister like me can experience God in all these struggles? I'm sure there are no definite answers because the riches of Christ cannot be exhausted, and only with all the saints can we apprehend the riches of Christ. So, if I experience it right, in the near future, I will be able to share my experience to those who also struggle to find a balance and we can all grow.
The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29) - Cherishing

And John testified, saying, I beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He abode upon Him. And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water, He said to me, He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and abiding upon Him, this is He who baptizes in the Holy Spirit. (John 1:32-33) -
Nourishing

Interestingly, this morning the Lord reminded me again, He's like a mother. A mother cherishes and nourishes her children. As a son of man, he cherishes us by taking away all the sins so we can be happy; as a son of God, He baptizes us in the water so we’ll be able to receive Him as the life-giving spirit. This is His nourishing.

As His follower, of course we're happy to be cherished and nourished. This is what we should experience every day. However, as revealed in the messages earlier this week, the principle is "to give is to receive". Our giving out is so important for our Christian life. If we don't give (material and spiritual giving), we're poor and we're not rich in life.

I realise no matter how much we struggle with our busy life, the principle is always "to give". Although it's not easy and I'm still practising, throughout my experience so far, I realise that if I don't learn to give it now (time, energy, money etc.), my capacity will still be limited. Learning to be a mom is a rich blessing so I will be able to learn to give properly and timely. Oh Lord, while I’m struggling with all these, enlarge me according to the riches of Your Glory, strength me into my inner man so I will be able to learn to give more even I’m struggling!
